Our caregivers are
carefully selected, trained, and regularly
evaluated. We support the professional development
of our staff. We offer monthly training sessions
covering a variety of topics related to caring for
children.
In the child care
profession, there is a trend of teacher turnover.
HoneyTree, like other child care centers, does
experience some teacher change. We minimize this
by offering benefits to our employees and work
steadily at maintaining staff morale.
The HoneyTree
family of parents and teachers each year recognize
extraordinary staff members as our
2008
Caregivers of the Year.
2O
Awards and
Recognitions
A
full 50% of our staff is trained in CPR and 90% is
trained in First Aid. All totaled, we have over
400 years of childcare experience.
We
require our Lead Teachers to have an associate or 4-year college degree.
Several have their Masters in Education.
