Descriptions
Driver
Responsible for transporting the children
between the centers, school and home.
Requirements: Applicant must be 21 years
old, possess a valid driver's license (some
positions require a CDL), and have an acceptable
driving record.
Cook:
Responsible for food preparation (breakfast,
lunch, and snack) for all classrooms and maintains
neat, orderly kitchen environment.
Requirements: Applicants must have
previous experience with food preparation,
experience in childcare setting preferred, must be
at least 18 years old.
Assistant Teacher:
Responsible for carrying out instructions from
the Lead Teacher, provides a warm and nurturing
environment for children in classroom, assures
safety of children at all times.
Requirements: Applicant must be at least
18 years old, possess a a High School diploma or
GED, and have at least 6 months experience in a
formal childcare setting.
Lead Teacher:
Responsible for preparing lesson plans from
curriculum guidelines and implementing those plans
into daily routine of classroom, maintaining
safety/organization of classroom, acts as primary
resource for parents and addresses parental
questions as they arise, provides structure in all
aspects to the classroom.
Requirements: Applicant must be at least
18 years old, possess a 2 or 4 year degree in Early
Childhood Education or similar field (i.e., Early
Elementary Education, etc.) and have prior
experience within a formal childcare setting.
Assistant Director:
Responsible for carrying out instructions from
the Center Director, supports the Center Director
with paperwork/filing, maintains accurate and
updated children's files, maintains
order/cleanliness/organization of the center,
handles parent concerns or questions, ensures the
implementation of curriculum into the daily routine
of all classrooms, handles Center's responsibilities
for the Center Director in his/her absence.
Requirements: Applicant must meet all
qualifications for a Lead Teacher position and have
substantial experience in a formal childcare
setting.
Director:
Oversees staff activity, supervises management
of all classrooms, maintains center compliance with
health/safety/licensing regulations, handles all
financial responsibilities of the center,
responsible for enrollment, handles staffing needs
for the center, maintains staff files and morale of
the center.
Requirements: Applicant must
meet all qualifications for an Assistant Director, 3
years experience plus a 2 to 4 year degree or a CDA.
